Maid 4 You Policies and procedures

Policies, Terms and conditions

 

CANCELLATION

In your busy life, we understand that things come up suddenly. So, if it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service, Maid 4 You merely requires a two business day notice. If Maid 4 You receives less than two business days’ notice, or if we can not access your home, it will be necessary to charge you the full price of your cleaning. All future cleanings will remain unchanged.

  • Schedule or service changes may not be made through the employees. Please contact your local office directly for schedule changes.
  • Termination of regularly scheduled cleanings must be in writing via Email  maid4yousc@gmail.com .
  • Recurring service is priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply.

ACCESS

You have a couple of options for providing Maid4You access to your home:

  • The most preferred and convenient method: you may leave a key to your residence with Maid4You. Your key will be kept safe and secure in our key safe. All keys are coded for security and will never have your name or address attached to them. If you have an alarm system, please give access instructions to your Maid4You office.
    • For your safety, we do not return keys by mail. We ask that customers come to their Maid4You office and present a picture ID before a key will be released.
  • If it is not possible to leave a key with Maid4You, you may meet the service provider at your residence. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy should Maid4You be unable to access your home during the preset arrival window.
  • If neither of the above is possible, please make alternate arrangements with your local Maid4You office.

PAYMENT

  • Maid4You gladly accepts MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Discover, etc. 
  • Full payment is due the day of your cleaning.
  • A credit card number must be kept on file with your Maid4You office. Your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees, on the day of your cleaning unless you have notified your Maid4You office in writing that an alternate form of payment will be provided at the time of service.
  • A $25 fee will be charged for each returned check.

SCHEDULING

Recurring cleanings are scheduled according to our checklist and priorities discussed when defining your service. One-Time Cleanings are scheduled as standard blocks of time. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. Please note that it will take a few cleanings to confirm your ongoing maintenance needs. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your home and assure you that we will move from deep cleaning into maintenance cleaning as quickly as possible.

We strive to have the same staff members clean your home or office on a regular basis, however, this is not guaranteed. Due to vacation, illness or departure from the company, Maid4You may occasionally provide a replacement cleaning professional .

If, due to the unique nature of your home, your service providers are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work.

ARRIVAL WINDOWS

To ensure quality service for all valued clients, Maid4You cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our cleaning professional to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you.

  • Service provider(s) will arrive within the following timeframes:
    • When we have a key to the home, our arrival window is between 8am and 4pm.
    • When we are meeting someone at the home, we will set a four-hour arrival window between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

IN-HOME TIME (LABOR HOURS)

Generally, our service providers work in teams of one or two. Please note that, when more than one person is assigned, the quoted time required to complete the job, which was given in labor hours, is reduced. For example, if you were scheduled for a five labor-hour service and two service providers are assigned, the total in-home cleaning time is two and one-half hours.

HOLIDAYS

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday that Maid4You observes, we will contact you to reschedule your cleaning.

FEEDBACK

Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we need your feedback to help us improve our service. Please take a moment to visit maid4yousc.com/feedback to offer your comments. We value your opinions and your feedback is essential for us to serve you better.

24-HOUR GUARANTEE

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but Maid4You will happily re-clean any area that you are not satisfied with. Just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right. Maid 4 You does not offer discounts or reimbursed of service. 

GRATUITY

Maid4You never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaning professional. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

BREAKAGE/LOSS

Maid4You is bonded and insured. Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 10 times the cost of the service charge on the day in which the breakage/loss occurred. Notification must be made within 48 hours of service. Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost or miscoded. There is a $100 per location liability limit for key replacement and/or locksmith services. Maid 4 You is only reasonable for breakage. If damage has occurred from using products on items that have normal wear and tear we are not responsible for replacing such items. Please let us know if you have a special request on how to clean certain items. 

SUPPLIES

Maid4You uses high-quality, tested, and approved cleaning supplies, including a professional-strength vacuum cleaner with an extra-strong filter, to clean your home. However, if you own special products that you would like to have used on particular surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please contact our office to discuss prior to your cleaning so we might provide instructions to your cleaner.

REFERRAL FEE

Should you wish to hire a present or past Maid4You staff member for any home-related service outside of your agreement with Maid4You, our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Maid4You. If the fee is not paid, Maid4You reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.

GIFT CERTIFICATES / GIFT CARDS

Gift certificates do not expire. Gift certificates may not be returned, is not redeemable for cash and no charge will be given, except where required by law. Gift certificates are issued by Maid4You Franchise Corporation and we do not charge service or dormancy fees.

This Privacy Policy describes Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use our service and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. We want to assure you that we do not share your personal information with third parties. This privacy policy outlines how wecollect, use, and protect the information you provide to us.

INFORMATION COLLECTION:

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. This may include your name, email address and phone number. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any third parties.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION:

The information collected is used solely for communicating with you as the intended party. We do not share your information with external parties for marketing or any other purposes. Additionally, no mobile or messaging consent information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.We may use personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our service, including to monitor the usage of our service.

• To manage your Account: to manage your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal

Data you provide can give you access to different functionalities of the Service that are

available to you as a registered user.

• For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the

purchase contract for the products, items or services you have purchased or of any other

contract with us through the Service.

• To contact You: To contact you by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of

electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding

updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted

services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their

implementation.

• To provide you with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services

and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or

enquired about unless you have opted not to receive such information.

• To manage your requests: To attend and manage your requests to us.

All messages you send through the Service, whether to us or other users, are stored on our servers.

Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids employs servers and services owned by third parties to retain these messages.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids does not share any client data with third parties for marketing, promotional purposes, or any other purposes. Your personal information is kept confidential and is not disclosed to any outside organizations, except as required by law or with your explicit consent. We may disclose your personal Information under the following limited circumstances:

• We have obtained your consent.

• We need to enforce our Terms of Service.

• We share information with partners or affiliates that have signed non-disclosure agreements

with us only to provide you with a specific service.

• We may provide such information to a company controlled by or under common control with

Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids for any purpose allowed by this Policy.

• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes, or to establish or exercise our

legal rights, or the legal rights of others, or defend against legal claims.

• When we believe it is necessary to disclose Personal Information to investigate, prevent, or

take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to anyone’s

physical safety, violations of Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by

law.

• We transfer Personal Information about you if Maid 4 You/ #1 Maids or its assets are acquired by or merged with another company.

We may share aggregated, non-identifiable information with others without further notice to you, such as the total number of people who used the Service in a specific month or the total number of messages sent during a particular period.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your Personal Information may be transferred to and processed in locations outside of your state,province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We take steps to ensure that your data is handled securely and in line with this Policy, regardless of where it is processed.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We will also retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Our Service may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device to collect information about your activity on the Service. You can control the use of cookies through your browser settings, but disabling cookies may limit your ability to use certain features of the page or Service.
